Who is Coach Gav?

I’m Gavin, I live in Chichester, married with 3 great children (6, 10 & 13).

I am passionate about helping children develop in sports, like to fundraise (You may have seen me - I often wear a Peppa Pig costume!).

I’m a level 2 licensed outfield, GK and Futsal coach. DBS checked and safeguard trained. I’ve coached many teams and individuals in many sports.

The motto in our house is 'Carpe Diem' - Seize the day! My wife and I are incredibly passionate about making a difference to the world in which we live by being who we are.

We sadly lost our son Luke who was stillborn at 30 weeks back in 2009. We vowed then that we would choose to turn our story into one of positivity, making a difference and a legacy for Luke’s name.

We are both hugely passionate about helping and motivating children in sport by giving them the opportunities to be the very best that they can be.

We wanted Zoom Ballers to be a place where children can come and be physical but also get social and mental engagement. To feel a part of something. To go away feeling encouraged and motivated and ultimately not alone.

We would also like to give something back to charities that are close to our hearts; Chestnut Tree House Hospice, Sussex Snowdrop Trust & Teenage Cancer Trust.  - Please see our donate page.

Carpe Diem!
